BPO Business Development Manager

This role is a senior-level individual contributor position focused on process management rather than direct people management. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Business Development Manager is responsible for expanding TMG's market presence in the office services and facilities management industry by securing new clients within the designated geographic region or assigned areas. Collaboration with other business development managers is expected, and you may be asked to support team members on projects and contribute to shared business development efforts.\n

Responsibilities:\n

A. Excellent prospecting abilities. Conduct cold sales calls, research customer needs, and effectively apply services to maximize sales opportunities for TMG.\n\nDetermining market strategies & goals for each service. \nObtaining & coordinating data & information from staff & member groups. \n Researching and developing lists of potential customers \nDoing market research to determine customer needs & providing information to other staff. \nEvaluating product & service marketability in terms of customers' technical & manufacturing needs. \nFollowing up on sales leads and making cold calls on potential customers. \nMaintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets. \nEstablishing & maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales.\n\n

B. Create and deliver compelling sales presentations while professionally closing deals to meet specific quota goals and drive revenue growth.\n\nDeveloping sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products & services. Travel is required.\nDeveloping technical presentations.\nMaintaining up-to-date awareness of activities and industry trends.\nMaking regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.\nEstablishing long-term, ongoing repeat relationships.\nSupport closing deals.\n\n

C. Engage in sales forecasting and strategic planning to support effective market development and maintain a steady revenue stream.. \n\nGathering analyzing and sharing customer technical information & feedback.\nWorking with other staff to identify future customer needs.\nMaintaining an up-to-date working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices\n\n

D. Effectively manage travel budgets to ensure smooth financial operations by:\n\nSupporting short- and long-term budget planning.\nMonitoring and adhering to established budgets.\nProviding accurate sales forecasting for effective budget planning.\n\n

E. Professional Development & Industry Event Engagement\n\nMeet TMG's professional development requirement with industry certification. \nRepresent TMG at industry trade events and professionally representing TMG and when possible, taking opportunity to speak or present industry though leadership\nCollaborating with TMG Marketing on exhibition attendance and representation\nAttending and participating in event activities beyond exhibition periods\nAssisting Marketing in TMG presence set up and tear down if necessary\nPost event outreach \n\n

Qualifications:\n\nWorking with a wide variety of individuals at levels ranging from corporate presidents to line managers. \nMaintain all business activity in TMG database on salesforce.com. High pressure, constantly changing environment. \nTracking rapidly changing competition & market forces. \nMaintaining an up-to-date working knowledge of the industries served and products & services. \nAnalyze & develop opportunities for possible deals. \nBachelor's degree in Business Management or other closely related field and 5 years of operational\/sales experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of operational experience.\nMust meet annual sales quota Travel up to 25% required\n\n
