Benefits & Perks:Competitive salary and generous bonus program base on your local teams contribution without a limitComprehensive benefits program and RRSP match planResponsibilities: Establish and implement a short, medium, and long-term business plan that will determine the opportunities, objectives, and goals of the business centre in terms of sales, customer service, cost control, asset management, and profitabilityDevelop long-term, profitable relationships with select key customers in the trading areaStrong customer focus on industrial as well as commercial and residential businessesManage and maximize profitability through the cultivation and development of territoryIdentify and take advantage of unrealized opportunities for expansion in the Business Centre’s region through existing and potential customers as well as productsIdentify, attract, develop, motivate, and retain outstanding employeesCommunicate timely with senior management on market- and business-related issues and opportunitiesBehave in an ethical and professional manner, reflecting the values of the companyEngage and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key suppliersIncrease the Business Centre’s profitability through systematic control of costs, expenses, and investmentsPrepare and follow through on the annual business plan as well as goals and objectives for each employeeHas understanding and can influence favourable medium and large capital projects in the trading areaParticipate in cyclical and annual physical inventory preparation and countingManage the centre in accordance with our standard practice instructionsQualifications:Ideally, a college or university graduateIdeally, 2+ years of related leadership experience with a proven record of profitable growthStrong abilities in leadership, negotiation, and managementMicrosoft Office-literateExcellent communication skills, both written and spokenHighly organized, results-driven, and goal-orientedEnergetic, positive, and professional attitudeAbility to attract, develop, and coach a teamStrong willingness to learn and develop skillsSound judgment and thrives on entrepreneurshipUnderstanding of inventory management and purchasing functionsExperience with the servicing and/or sales of construction-related products and related services
