The opportunity
This position is responsible to drive sales and recruit high caliber candidates to ensure key targets and objectives are delivered. This position will be based in Myeik.
Position Responsibilities:
Establish sales and referral network with local businesses in order to maximize value from connectionsLead and motivate talents for the development and startup of the agency districtEnsuring effective motivational measures and programs to achieve objectivesImplement sales training and orientation program to educate new hires as our operation growsAssess the business landscape and institute changes to the Sales & Promotion programDevelop and ensure the execution of business plans which meet short and long term business objectivesManage and monitor the performance of team members to ensure continuous and sustainable growthActively contribute to the overall management of the Agency Distribution area; provide input to and develop recommendations to the distribution strategyManage and execute projects that have impact on the entire Agency OperationsRequired Qualifications:
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies/Education:EducationBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experienceMinimum 8 years working experience preferably in finance or other service industryMinimum 3 years’ experience at manager levelExperience in sales management, promotion, training & development; or other successful senior management experiencesGood presentation and motivational skillsVisionary leadership with respective branch and regional satellite offices developmentPersuasive and able to convey ideas, plus negotiation and influencing skillsAble to handle conflicts and self-motivated in difficult situationsTech-Savvy and advocate of digital toolsExceptional command in English and Burmese, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in strategic implementation of distribution strategies would be an advantageDemonstrated continuous growth and winning record in career.Good understanding of business diversityProven ability to prospect, drive the sales process from plan to closeBasic understanding of insurance product features and designExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsLeadership and management competencyStrategic mindset, visionary and persistence. Being able to think beyond status quo.
