Branch Manager

Manages and directs the daily operation of a moderate-sized branch office, including Club, travel and insurance.  Provides highest quality of customer service to members and customers, maintaining the competitive position and profitability of the operation.  Meets revenue goals.  Recruits, trains, and develops a highly motivated and effective team of employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees daily activities of branch to provide the highest quality of customer service to customers and members; investigates complaints, identifies potential problems and takes corrective action. Accountable for effective, efficient budgeting and planning for assigned branch; controls costs; meets quarterly performance expectations in the areas of sales, employee productivity and member satisfaction.Performs all necessary managerial functions to effectively and efficiently manage assigned personnel:Provides guidance, training, leadership and coaching.Interprets policies and procedures and communicates changes.Maintains a qualified staff.Determines standards of performance as a basis to review progress.Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivity.Prepares and submits clear, concise, timely and accurate reports as assigned.Maintains service level audit of 95% satisfaction.Prepares and approves time sheets and schedules.May provide notary service and other member/client services as necessary.Attends required meetings as scheduled and relays pertinent information to employees through timely meetings.Must be willing to work in excess of 40 hours per week and on some Saturdays.

SCOPE AND IMPACT         

Supervises activities of a moderate-sized branch (approximately 10 to 25) employees.Responsible for annual sales of approximately $3 Million in Travel, $1 Million in Travelers Checks and $1Million in Insurance products.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR SKILLS

Demonstrated management skills to include 3-5 years’ experience in full range of managerial responsibilities; preferably in AAA field or related business.College-level business education, or equivalent experience to include training courses beyond high-school level.Ability to supervise, coach, motivate and develop staff.Strong analytical skills; solid oral and written communication skills.
