Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Branch Manager in our El Cajon, CA location. This location sells plumbing and HVAC (products).
This position leads local sales and operations of this location which includes a showroom, inside sales team, counter, and warehouse. The successful candidate will establish relationships with customers to grow sales of Plumbing and HVAC.
Position Details
Reports to Senior Area ManagerDirect oversight of 5 to 10 associatesStarting at $30.00 per hour or higher based on experience.
Hours are Monday to Friday 7 am – 4 pm including rotating Saturday 7 am - 11:30 am
Responsibilities
Provide leadership for the organization’s customer-facing associates and branch functionsDevelop a team with focus on customer service, sales and operational strategy implementationRun the overall sales and operations of a branch location including hiring, coaching, and scheduling of employees to ensure efficient and quality branch operationsMaintain inventories at adequate levels, promote sales, and maintain the appearance of the branchBuild and maintain an environment of engagement by listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers and implementing solutions to solve problemsAnalyze store data and identify areas of opportunity, and implement solutions to continuously improve the overall performance of the locationPerforms all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and proceduresQualifications
Leadership/management experience is preferred5+ years of industry experience is strongly preferredAbility to lead and empower individuals and teamsAbility to organize, prioritize, multi-task and effectively lead through stressful situationsProven track record to use data and metrics to implement effective solutionsDemonstrated success in problem solving and delivering resultsStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)Must be at least 18 years of ageA valid state issued license is requiredMay be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities.At Ferguson, we care for each other. Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
