Branch Manager
Job Title: Branch Manager Job Description This position will have direct responsibility for leading, managing, and profitably growing the Tampa market. If you have experience with operations, budgets, labor costs, and profit and loss, you could be a fit. Responsibilities + Manage day-to-day operations of Service and Install Departments. + Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure that the plan is properly executed. + Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner. + Ensure that install projects are completed timely, below budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer. + Participate in the annual budgeting process for the Departments and the plan to execute. + Deliver return on sales that exceed your financial budget forecast for your assigned business unit(s). + Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve. + Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly, and yearly performance reviews. + Improve safety performance by complying with all aspects of our safety program and consistently emphasizing safety to your team through your words and actions. + Improve warranty performance by conducting root cause analysis and developing and implementing plans to reduce the numbers of warranties and the associated costs. + Improve Customer survey scores and response rates over prior year results by consistently emphasizing the importance of great customer service, actively coaching it, recognizing employees who deliver great customer service, and quickly repairing relationships where customers give low scores. + Evaluate and make suggestions to improve operational processes and procedures. + Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees. + Lead effective field force meetings. + Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Profit & Loss Responsibility + Operations Management + Management Skills + Branch Management + Budgeting + Training Development + Hiring + Customer Service Skills + Strong Operational Background + Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing personnel, preferably with a Service Organization + Valid Driver’s License + Ability for technical applications, mechanical systems, and problem-solving + Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel + Experience hiring, training, developing, and conducting annual performance reviews Additional Skills & Qualifications + Tenure at previous organizations (at least 5 years ideally) + Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required + Mechanically inclined + Mechanical aptitude + Schedule management Work Environment Onsite in Tampa, FL. Travel on occasion to customer job sites and quarterly for senior management meetings. 40 total people report to this position, with core managers reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The role involves a high level of activity in a hands-on environment with an emphasis on meeting deadlines and providing unmatched customer service. The company is privately owned with no intention of changing that. They expect significant growth in Florida and are already expanding at a nice rate. Advancement path includes Division, District, and Regional Manager, with opportunities to relocate within the organization.
