Location: Dundas West and Bloor
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm
Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000+ based on experience. Comprehensive benefits, and continuing education opportunities.
Job Description:
The Branch Manager is a critical driver of growth and development. This role encompasses managing and coordinating branch staff, budgets, and operations, ensuring the team has the necessary training and tools to excel. The Branch Manager designs strategies to enhance productivity, monitors and manages key performance indicators, addresses operational challenges, and ensures compliance with policies while mitigating risks. This role also involves preparing detailed reports on branch performance, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administrative and HR:
Conducting final interviews, hiring, and recruitment. Managing disciplinary actions for both employees and the company. Identifying opportunities for company advancement.Marketing and Business Development:
Reviewing large proposals. Driving business development and implementing sales strategies. Managing key client relationships. Networking to boost the company’s presence and reputation.Finance:
Developing and overseeing budgets and cost control. Approving significant purchases. Reporting on market conditions.Quality Control:
Collaborating with the Quality Control Manager to identify and implement improvements. Supporting professional development initiatives.Technical Services:
Overseeing daily project management. Coordinating with architects and developers to ensure design alignment with building requirements. Leading internal and external project meetings. Supervising project team members and maintaining project schedules. Reviewing architectural drawings for compliance and inspecting vertical transportation equipment. Preparing and reviewing project documentation, contracts, and specifications.General Duties:
Completing other business tasks as needed. Traveling occasionally to project locations RequirementsQualifications:
Who You Are:
Highly organized with excellent coordination and prioritization skills. Detail-oriented and solution-driven. Independent, proactive, and deadline-focused. Passionate about delivering exceptional engineering products. Strong communicator with a natural curiosity for processes and systems.Experience & Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Experienced in project coordination and management (5+ years preferred). Knowledge of the construction industry and vertical transportation equipment (an asset). Bachelor’s degree in engineering (P.Eng designation is an asset). PMP designation and self-employment experience are advantageous. Proficient in CAD/Drawing software (ideal).Who They Are:
