Additional Information:
Must be legal to work in Angola (possess Work permit or local)
This position may require frequent travel within Angola and occasionally to other countries.
The successful candidate will be expected to relocate to Angola.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the scaffolding, rope access, or fabric maintenance industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a business in a foreign market.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Experience in the industrial and offshore sectors is preferred.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards (offshore and in-country)
Proficiency in project management methodologies.
Financial acumen and analytical skills.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Vast experience in the offshore environment
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to expand market share and profitability in the Angolan market.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the scaffolding, rope access, and fabric maintenance industries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry associations, and government officials.
Negotiate contracts and manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Team Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team to support the company's operations in Angola.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
Ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to achieve their objectives.
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including project management, resource allocation, and quality control.
Ensure compliance with all local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Strategic Planning:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop long-term strategic plans to position the company for growth and success in the Angolan market.
Collaborate with corporate leadership to align local strategies with overall company objectives.
