CentiMark Corporation (the nation’s largest commercial and industrial roofing contractor), is seeking an experienced Branch Safety Inspector to support our Rocky Hill, CT branch! 

The Branch Safety Inspector will be responsible for project safety set-up and OSHA type inspections for compliance with all CentiMark customers, Federal and State rules and regulations for each branch. 

Job Summary:

Assist in setting up fall protection, pre-job inspections and job planning meetingsComplete Daily JHA and Equipment InspectionsPerform Roof Top safety inspections on all crews to check complianceCommunicate and interact with Customer’s Safety TeamCheck Fall Protection Plan, Tool Box Talks and other safety documents required to be on siteAddress all safety violations in compliance with CentiMark and Customer Safety Rules and PoliciesReview inspections with crews and cover safety awareness messagesReport inspection results on a weekly basis to Operations ManagerConcerns such as fall protection violations or other serious violations must be reported immediatelyAssist in conducting training meetings

Candidate Qualifications:

Must have good working knowledge of roofing procedures and safetyOSHA 30HR - Construction or equivalentKnowledge and understanding of OSHA RegulationsExcellent communication/writing skillsAnalytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational/time management skillsExcellent follow up skillsConstruction experience preferredWilling to travelValid state driver’s license in good standing requiredBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
