About the role:
The Brand and Creative Operations Lead is a critical role that bridges the gap between creative vision and efficient execution. This role collaborates closely with the CEO and SVP of Marketing to understand the vision for the brand. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing operational processes that streamline workflows, optimize resource allocation, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality creative assets that align with brand guidelines across all marketing channels. This includes a wide range of assets, such as advertisements, email campaigns, website design, booth designs, video production, social media content, presentations, one-sheets, case studies, and more. This role requires a unique blend of creative understanding, project management skills and a passion for operational excellence.
Basically, we’re looking for someone who combines a high-level aesthetic with project management excellence, can execute at scale but enjoys delivering quick wins when needed. What you’ll do:Develop and implement efficient workflows for creative projects, from ideation to delivery.Identify and implement tools and technologies to streamline processes and enhance collaboration.Manage and allocate resources effectively, including internal creative teams, freelancers, and agencies.Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.Create and maintain detailed project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.Ensure all creative outputs adhere to established brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency across all channels.Develop and maintain a library of brand assets, including logos, fonts, and imagery.Own the creation and management of design templates for various marketing materials (e.g., presentations, one-sheets, social media graphics) to ensure brand consistency and streamline content creation for the marketing team.Manage a portfolio of creative projects, overseeing all aspects from initiation to completion.Facilitate communication and collaboration between creative teams, stakeholders, and external partners.Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement solutions to ensure successful delivery.Continuously evaluate and improve creative operations processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to creative operations, providing regular reports to leadership.Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to optimize creative workflows.What experience we are looking for:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, or a similar role.Hands on experience as a designer translating a company brand into visual collateral.Proven ability to develop and implement efficient workflows and processes.Excellent project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.Experience with project management software and creative tools.Knowledge of brand management principles and best practices.Strong understanding of the creative process and project lifecycle.Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.Familiarity with design thinking methodologies.Experience with budget management a plus.Related experience at a B2B software or technology company preferred.Who you are:A passion for design and a keen eye for detail.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsPassion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.Proactive and driven, with a strong work ethicHigh accountability and self-awarenessWhat we offer:Flexible, fun start-up environment and cultureAn approachable and accessible C-SuiteComprehensive health benefits401k + matchQuarterly lifestyle stipendUnlimited PTO and summer FridaysCompany-wide and team-specific entertainment budgets for both in-person and virtual team building A flexible hybrid work environment, with a fully stocked kitchen, weekly catered lunches, and casual attire while in officeSponsored Volunteer Events and Vistar Gives Back programAt Vistar Media, we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and other relevant business considerations. The actual pay will be at Vistar Media’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
