Leveraging our deep relationships and influence with studios, networks, labels, leagues, teams, venues, events, media, and content platforms, we provide a range of strategic and marketing consulting services to corporate clients around their entertainment & sports strategies.   

The Role

This individual will work as an Assistant in the Brand Consulting department supporting two (2) brand accounts. This position focuses on marketing and brand partnership opportunities for corporate clients and is most suitable for those with interest in pursuing a career in marketing.

Responsibilities

General research as required on: talent, industry trends, competitors, brands, territories and eventsPresentation preparation including creating, formatting, and proofing PowerPoint and Google Slides decksProduction of presentations for client meetingsProvide administrative support including scheduling, coordinating meetings, correspondence, status reports, notetaking during meetings, updating contact lists, property/talent asset trackers and special projects as neededMaintain account finances including budgets, expenses, invoices, booking reports, check requests, retainer fees, and revenue trackersPull data, analytics, and trends for various topics and projectsTrack and communicate account and partner updates, including monthly dashboards and preparing monthly newsletters        Liaise with brand clients and brand’s partner propertiesMaintaining various tracking systems, including but not limited to: competitive intelligence, partnership assets (i.e., building/maintaining “asset trackers”), incoming partnership opportunity requests, etc.On-site event support (on weekends during the fall) and planning coordination/logistics tracking as neededHospitality management, including managing ticket inventory for client’s partner properties, tracking ticket usage, and receiving/sending tickets to clients

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Business or the equivalent preferredAt least one (1) year of experience in marketing and brand partnerships. Work experience in an ad/marketing agency preferred. Live event experience preferredGeneral understanding of current brand consulting industry and the nature of a talent agencyInterest and passion for entertainment, sports and pop cultureTechnologically Savvy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Keynote, Photoshop, Google Slides/Sheets/Docs, Slack). Social Media/Digitally versedTeam-oriented, able to pivot and take on new tasks quicklyPolished written and verbal skills. Strong at communicating in written format through well-crafted email correspondenceOrganized and able to multi-task to keep up with demanding client needs across multiple accounts and partnershipsSuperior attention to detailStrong sense of initiation and informative by nature. Solutions orientedCurious; able to pull insights and present researchAbility to listen and ask poignant questionsAbility to build trust through relationship building, confidence and business acumenProficiency and/or interest in finance, cryptocurrency, blockchain, and web3 technologies a plus

On-Site in Los Angeles, CA, United States 

Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20-$22. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
