Brand Content Manager - EUR Purina Snack Business
**Position Snapshot** • Location: Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona) • Type of Contract: Full time, Permanent • Reports to: European Marketing Manager. • Type of work: Hybrid/Remote • Work Language: Fluent Business English **The role** As the Brand Content Manager for the Snack business at Purina, you will lead the development of a holistic communication and content strategy across a diverse portfolio of brands with European/above the market Scope . This role encompasses overseeing the Purina snacks brands and acting as a consultant to main meal brands with snacks in their portfolio. A startup/ agile mindset is essential to drive growth and implement innovative communication strategies tailored to the unique needs of smaller brands. **What you’ll do** • Brand Strategic Leadership & Implementation: Partner with the European Marketing Manager and the brand team to craft a thoughtful brand communication strategy for the Snack EUR brands. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that brand activation plans resonate with Purina's broader marketing vision. • Integrated communication development and consumer engagement: Develop and implement integrated communication plans that leverage digital, social media, and public relations to effectively engage target audiences, support European markets in creating compelling shopper activation strategies, and foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including pet influencers and potential partners, to enhance brand visibility. • Content Creation: Oversee the development of holistic content for the Snack brands at a European level, delivering master assets for relevant touchpoints. Manage and update the content calendar, incorporating input from local markets and stakeholders. Collaborate with local marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning across all channels. • Media Strategy: Lead the media and touchpoint strategy for Snacks. Recommend actions to enhance media efficiency in collaboration with the media support team. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial, Digital, Holistic Content teams, and local markets to ensure the successful rollout of central initiatives. • Best Practices Implementation: Ensure adherence to best practices defined by the Content team, leveraging guidance from BBNW (BEP)( Not sure people externally knows what BBNW Stands for. Proposal: leveraging guidance from global brand fundamentals) and the Central e-business team. • Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and utilize expert knowledge to enhance content strategies and execution. **We offer you** We offer more than just a job. Our state-of-the-art campus is dog friendly and equipped with a medical center, canteen and areas to co-create network and chill! • **Recreation activities** such as yoga, Zumba, etc. and a wide range of volunteering activities. **Minimum qualifications:** • Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in Brand Management, Communication Marketing, or communication agencies, with at least 4 years in dynamic environments focused on small business growth. • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work autonomously, focusing on Brand and PR activations. • Experience working with: Communications, creative or PR agencies across different projects. • Creative and Agile Thinking: Proven ability to balance creativity with urgency to deliver results.
