We are seeking an experienced Brand Designer to work in either our Lexington, KY or Charlotte, NC offices.

Overview

Gray is seeking a Brand Designer to complement its Marketing team of professionals. Brand Designers at Gray are dedicated to specific business segments, providing tailored visual design support that aligns with each segment’s unique needs. This role involves creating a wide range of visual content and ensuring brand consistency and innovation across all platforms. In addition to graphic design expertise, the Brand Designer will be responsible for producing and editing video content to enhance the organization's digital presence.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

Visual Content Creation: Design and produce visual content for print, digital, branding, and social media, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project timelines. This includes creating and editing video content for various platforms, such as promotional videos, social media clips, and event recordings.  Video Production and Editing: Produce and edit video content for various platforms, including promotional videos, event highlights, and social media clips. Tasks include Performing basic video editing tasks, including trimming footage, adding text and audio, and preparing videos for use in digital campaigns or presentations.  Brand Consistency: Ensure brand consistency and innovation within assigned business segments, adhering to established brand guidelines and quality standards in all design outputs. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in the business segments to understand their needs and objectives, creating impactful and relevant designs that integrate into marketing campaigns and initiatives.  Project Management: Manage design projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Oversee the production and printing process.  Support for Events and Campaigns: Provide segment-specific visual content to support event designs and marketing campaigns, contributing to special event and one-off branding projects to enhance the overall brand experience.  Team Support: Collaborate with other Brand Designers, providing backup support as needed to manage workloads and ensure timely project completion. Manage the segment external resources.  Industry Awareness: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in design tools to ensure the application of the latest techniques and innovations.  

Location: This hybrid role can be based at our headquarters in Lexington KY or our Charlotte NC regional office.  Estimated 10% travel required.

 

Who we want… (Requirements)

Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in graphic design with exposure to video editing preferredSkills:Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication and time management skills. Attributes:Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
