This role is then offering to handle 2 of the most iconic brands in Beauty & WellBeing division:
Dove – being Unilever most iconic, global brands, and a decisively strategic priority for the division.
Creamsilk – being Philippin’s cult local jewel, the 1st ever treatment only brand, representing > 50% of this segment in the country.
Additionally, this role will have the unique opportunity to work across multiple dimensions, making it an incomparable learning and career development opportunity by including:
2 categories – Hair Care & Skin Care (for Dove).
2 regions – SEA + Indonesia, North Asia (China & Japan).
This role will report into Dove & Creamsilk Global Brand Senior Vice President, leading both Dove Hair / Skin & Creamsilk to massively accelerate these businesses in the region.
This would include strategic oversight of both brand strategies in the region, crafting & delivery of innovations and design of specific engagement strategies & assets for the region.
The role will be part of Dove Hair & Skin Global Leadership teams and collaborate cross-functionally to drive projects from concept to market, fostering creativity and operational efficiency.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Regional / Brand Strategic Plans
Design CreamSilk Brand Vision & Strategy, including Strategic Growth Pillars & 12Q Plans / Event Matrixes.
Design Dove Hair / Dove Skin Strategic Growth Agenda for the region.
Product Innovation & Development:
Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation to commercialization.
Oversee improvement of existing product lines, ensuring continuous innovation and relevance.
Consumer Engagement:
Design CreamSilk Brand Equity direction, including Brand Key, Brand Visual Identity, Brand Communication Idea. Including Crafting of all Communication Campaigns.
Craft all Dove specific SEA / Indonesia / North Asia Communication Campaigns.
Cross-functional Leadership
Collaborate with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure product feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
Ensure seamless communication and execution across departments for product launches.
Consumer & Market Research
Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify product opportunities and gaps.
Leverage insights to guide product strategy and development initiatives.
Sustainability & Compliance
Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and align with the company’s sustainability goals.
Lead efforts to incorporate sustainable practices into the product lifecycle.
Project Management
Oversee product development timelines, budgets, and resources.
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget constraints.
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor a team of product developers, ensuring continuous skill development and innovation.
Build high performing team environment – specifically critical as team to be based in diverse locations (SEA / NAsia).
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of 10-12 years in Product & Communication development.
Significant Experience in Beauty categories (Hair Care, Skin Care and / or Color Cosmetics).
In-depth knowledge of Southeast Asia markets as a must-have – North Asia (CN, Japan) as a strong plus.
Strong experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with R&D, marketing, finance, Consumer Insight teams and supply chain.
Experience with market and consumer research, particularly in aligning products & communication with consumer preferences.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
In-depth knowledge of the FMCG and Beauty industries and market trends.
Strong project management skills, with experience in managing large-scale product development.
