Brand Lead will be the critical leadership role of the Spain Brand team, accountable for the overall brand strategy that drives successful launch and growth of the Brand. Brand Lead, along with core brand team members, will be responsible for the development of the brand strategy and execution of tactics across all customer types and functions.

Brand Lead will manage a cross-functional brand team (i.e., Market Access, Commercial, Medical, VAP and WCC) and ensure seamless working of the team as a single, agile unit, to achieve brand strategic imperatives​. Brand Lead will be responsible for the Brand’s fully loaded P&L which will include budget for the cross-functional team members. This role will also be responsible for the performance management and development of all core brand team members.

Key Responsibilities

Build, work and lead a cross-functional team across Commercial, Market Access, Medical, and enabling Functions for a common and compliant set of brand objectives to develop, maintain and drive a strategic vision (both short and long-term) to drive engagement among different stakeholders.Connect with established and emerging customers to develop a point of view of market, pathology and product evolution and then proactively and systematically drive towards those ends.Develop, hold and communicate a clear understanding of the organization, market, competition, partners, and market trends.Identify opportunities to optimize brand strategy using data, industry best practices and experimentation.Develops the vision on how to create a well-defined set of targeted customers as well as how to best approach to each stakeholder.Accountable for fully loaded P&L and owns decision on how the budget is used for cross-functional team resourcing/capabilities (e.g., Functional mix and capability needs, FTE v. non-FTE budget)​Actively drives & participates in brand and cross game boarding sessions to guarantee an optimized resource allocation across market to meet brand / DA objectives over time​.Responsible for execution of the Agile Brand Planning process, including responsible for the correct reporting and governance model (eep dives, etc.). Is responsible for overseeing & motivating a team of brand managers to help a company achieve its marketing goals ensuring an omnichannel, personalized approach to marketing, leveraging advanced analytics, and modular content processes​ to drive sales. Provides input to BI&A teams on development of advanced analytics and uses them to inform/ refine brand strategies and understand brand performance.Actively participates in calibration sessions and provides input (on objectives and compliant performance feedback) to Functional Managers for performance reviews of Medical Lead (& associated teams), Access Strategy Lead (& associated teams) and Process Planner​Drives and ensures adoption of new WoW across brand team (i.e., omnichannel strategies, modular content creation, agile rituals, collaboration with PReP & agencies)​

Owns holistic brand strategy & imperatives across key stakeholders. ​

Brand Lead will execute objective setting process for all team members, including functional team members to ensure a cross-functional alignment of annual objectives.

During the Year-End-Process, Brand Lead, provides significant input on performance reviews for Market Access, Medical, VAP, & WCC team members, and actively contributes to cross-functional calibration sessions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Winning mindset.Familiarity with range of customer journeys (HCP, Patient, Payor)​.Able to deliver against commercial and broader performance objectives.​Relevant management background in leading Commercial, Access, or Medical functions (i.e., does not need to have marketer background)​.P&L/ budget management experience.​Fluency in analytical models (e.g., journey decisioning engine) and ability to translate analytics from I&A teams into actionable strategies​.Experience influencing others and communicating and collaborating well with cross-functional teams.Mastery of customer strategy, content production, digital, etc.  omnichannel and modular content production​.Ability to lead an area of work in a fast-paced & changing enterprise to work across multiple projects and manage time effectively.
