CNET Group is on the hunt for an experienced Brand Licensing and Media seller to embark on a meaningful and rewarding quest. What you’ll do: As a CNET Group Licensing Account Executive you will maximize revenue by leading sales of existing accounts as well as forging new account partnership. Lead your clients with a consultative approach, guiding and influencing clients/brands to execute Brand Licensing, content and digital partnerships across the technology and lifestyle brands of Ziff Davis. The Account Executive will maximize long term, cross functional revenue in two critical ways:Support & Grow the Core: Responsible for identifying opportunities within existing key accountsDevelop, Scale, & Transition New: Developing a new set of accounts that are strategically important to growing the business. What will be your responsibilities?Evaluate potential of Licensing/Media Partnerships and oversee Business DevelopmentRetain named and growth accounts, while fostering New Business opportunities and relationship to drive revenueLead client meetings and communications effectivelyNegotiate net new and existing licensing contractsMaintain and develop subject matter expertise and knowledge of industry trendsSecure and oversee Licensing partnerships including usage, infringement, and scopeProvide fresh, new insights to ensure constant effectiveness and work efficiencyIdentify and scope new verticals and revenue opportunitiesCollaborate with internal Ziff Davis teams to find key growth areasLicensing PartnershipsCross functional bundled partnerships (digital, commerce, content, social)Collaborate with editorial teams to identify and develop offeringsFunction as a strategic partner to the client/brand, guiding the client through ideal scenarios to ensure client KPI success, growth, and drive revenueDevelop new strategic ways to monetize and engage with brand executives and agenciesCoordinate effective packaging and approaches to fulfill client needs and industry demandEffectively manage and forecast business revenue including CRM/Salesforce pipeline What does it take to do this job?Proven track record of identifying growth opportunities and driving salesExperience with Licensed consumer and business productsTime management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks to drive impactful resultsStrong writing, presenting skillsExcel-based data analysis skillsCreativity in problem solvingUpbeat attitude – approaches challenges as opportunitiesDesire for exposure to multiple disciplinesUnderstanding of technology vendor landscapeKnowledge/experience with Licensing marketing and SalesFamiliarity/acumen with business software (i.e. Salesforce, Tableau, Excel) Education and Experience5+ years progressive experience in Product/Brand licensing and demonstrated success/knowledge3+ years of specialized/industry experienceBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)Master’s degree preferred Perks and BenefitsUnlimited flexible time offVolunteer paid time offGenerous holidaysRecognition Programs - yes there are multiple, AND prizes!Remote-first work experience and a work from anywhere cultureWeekly coffee chats with leadersWellness and mindfulness programsCareer advancement opportunitiesSick daysGenerous Paid Parental LeaveRegional holiday celebrationsCommunity give-back celebrationsUnwavering commitment to diversity and inclusionEmployee stock purchase program...and more! Ziff Davis - CNET Group is a safe, inclusive workplace for people of all backgrounds and walks of life.
