The Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) & Storage Marketing team reports to the Brand & Product Marketing Senior Manager, through to the Integrated Product Business Unit Director/General Manager. The team of Brand, Shopper, and Product Marketers collaborate to grow our brands through delivering the brand promise in partnership with sales through our products, consumer & shopper journeys, and activations.
This role in summaryThis role leads strategic positioning for Water, Gladiator, Affresh, and Swash brands, building the near- and long-term paths to brand and business growth across managed consumer touchpoints of the consumer journey (brand media & content). They are responsible for influencing brand Reasons-To-Believe through strategic benefit space identification for product development, current product communications, and launch asset creation supporting all channels.
Your responsibilities will include Develop the brand vision and near- and long-term strategy to achieve it.Build followership and govern the brand vision and strategy through devices like Brand Book, Creative Strategy, and mapping the desired consumer experience.Set brand health targets and track KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and growth.Lead annual Integrated Brand & Business Planning, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy for all campaign touchpoints, including, media, and PR enhancing brand visibility and engagement.Oversee paid brand media performance and ensure it meets strategic & operational return on investment (ROI)/return on ad spend (ROAS) objectives.Lead website experience enhancements and general updates to improve user engagement and satisfaction.Oversight of social media, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and influencer strategies towards strategic brand KPIs.Manage and or support development of new customer relationship management (CRM) activities to enhance customer relationships and loyalty.Minimum requirements Bachelor’s degree 6+ years of advertising, marketing, brand management or media/creative agency experiencePreferred skills and experiences Business, Communications, Marketing, degree preferredExperience developing product positioning and launching new products across Integrated Marketing CampaignsExperience developing and leveraging consumer insights to define long-term brand positioning & value propositions.Experience leading projects involving cross-functional teamsExperience leveraging data and trends to generate insights and transform them into marketing strategiesPrevious media budget ownership3+ years of CPG marketing experienceWhat we offerGenerous benefits package, Whirlpool employee discount, fitness & educational reimbursement programs, kitchenettes, and more!
