WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for a Brand Manager to join our Marketing Ice Cream department in our Barcelona office.

The Brand Manager Desserts will be responsible for the strategy and the business end-to-end of our ice cream desserts in the Restaurant channel, leading the strategy, portfolio and activation for one of our key pillars and sources of growth, and also co-leading the final execution with our CSP and CD team. This business opportunity is highly strategic inside OOH channel and the whole Ice cream growth roadmap, both in the short and long term.

We have relevant and very strategic opportunities in the channel to be unlock. To make them happen, you will lead the development of the national Marketing & Business Plan for Desserts, will lead a multifunctional team to implement the plan in the marketplace, will monitor its performance, and will bring perspective against monthly targets in order to respond with mitigation plans if required or accelerate growth when needed.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

KEY RESPONSABILITIES;

Develop and Implement the Strategy and the Marketing Plan for Desserts in the Horeca channel

Lead 6 P’s Strategy and Activation for Desserts, with special emphasis on developing and implementing the right Portfolio for the whole OOH Road to Market (distributors, final operators, consumers and Unilever)

Lead Desserts P&L: Oversee the Profit & Loss, ensuring financial targets are met. Drive growth and profitability plans, recommend solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets.

Monitor performance to implement appropriate plan changes.

Provide input to volume forecasting, financial updates and monitor key indicators and drivers of portfolio and channel performance.

INNOVATION & RENOVATION

Responsible for desserts portfolio management & performance

Lead Innovation / Renovation programmes for the different Restaurants and occasions.

Define short & long term pipeline for the country and influence local and global team.

Lead multi-functional innovation project teams with internal & external partners.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

External benchmarking, among competitors and the whole Restaurants industry.

Generate insights and value proposals for the consumer and the operator.

Develop commercial tools and trade stories for CD Team

Follow up channel KPIs

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

University degree, with an emphasis in business.

5+ years experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing &/or Sales (preferably OOH)

Project Management Experience

Solid analytical thinker and P&L owners’ mindset.

Business planning and implementation experience.

Passionate, energetic, results driven with proven leadership abilities.

Obsessed with agility and simplicity.

Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Supportive team player with a positive can-do attitude.

Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills and business creativity.

Proficient Level of English and Spanish are a must.

Valuable experience in Food Service / Horeca channel.

Highly valuable passion for food.
