We are looking for an experienced Marketing Professional to join Edgewell Personal Care – a global consumer goods business with a portfolio of over 25 brands (Wilkinson Sword, Schick, Hawaiian Tropic, Carefree, Bulldog Skincare for Men, Jack Black and recently acquired Cremo Grooming… just to name a few!).
 
Now, Let’s Get Down to Business
We're looking for an experienced Brand Manager to develop and implement brand plans & strategies (that are consistent with the EU Personal Care strategy) that maximize the growth opportunities for the segment through a unique understanding of the brand and consumer dynamics in the UK&I to lead and lead our Intuition business in the UK. Here’s a sample of what you’ll get up to:

 

•    Deliver Sales & Profit Targets: Ensure that targets for brand pricing, volume & value sales and profit (margins) are agreed and then met through effective cross-functional team working. Experience with portfolio margin-mix modelling.
•    Advertising & Promotional Spend: Manage the marketing investment budget within agreed limits as delegated.
•    Brand Planning: Within the agreed business strategy, create rolling plans that excite both our consumers and customer, break-through in the market and build brand fame. Gain approval for plans to achieve portfolio market and profit objectives. 
•    NPD: Plan and launch NPD with priority customers
•    BTL Development: Work in conjunction with Shopper Marketing Team to develop appropriate and consistent BTL plans with the Personal Care strategy. Comfortable briefing marketing agencies to deliver high impact, sales generating, below & through-the-line activities.
•    Channel Marketing/Sales: Collaborate with Category & Shopper Marketing to brief key internal stakeholders on the brand positioning and key initiatives to ensure trade strategies are aligned to brand and business goals.
•    Market Research: Review market data to identify key facts and develop insights based on understanding for the data – brief on insights and implications.
•    Continuous Learning: With the support of your manager, evaluate all key marketing and extract key learnings & improvement opportunities. 


Are You Ready to Show Us What You’ve Got?
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing professional with experience gained ideally within an FMCG or Cosmetics business. While your experience is of course important, we’re all about making useful things joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates are passionate about this too.

 

Here’s what we are looking for:


•    Demonstrable marketing/brand experience, which includes Marketing in an FMCG Environment. (Personal Care/Beauty preferred).
•    Demonstrable knowledge of the UK retail/grocery environment.
•    Successful People management experience 
•    Management of Below The Line, design agencies and research projects.
•    Experience of managing NPD launches.
•    Strong P&L understanding essential 
•    Demonstrable project and time management skills.
•    A clear track record of success in career to date.
•    Demonstrable experience of managing budgets.
•    Graduate or equivalent (Business related).
•    Computer literate (essential) including, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office
