Site Name: Lisbon Posted Date: Jan 21 2025 Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities: Ensures that the brands under its responsibility resonate with current and potential customers, in order to achieve the company's strategic objectives by maximizing the value of the assets in question. Leads the multidisciplinary team (Brand Team), project teams, and external agencies in the analysis and implementation of the strategy of their brands, and/or services, continuously monitoring marketing trends and competition in the market. Ensures that promotional activities are in accordance with GSK's Code of Conduct and standards as well as Portuguese legislation Accountability: Development and coordination of activities: Develops and implements a strategic direction for a product or a set of products, current and future. Develops market intelligence systems/processes (market research, market analysis, market insight, etc.) and monitors the sales of its products and is responsible for the forecast. Promotes contacts with External Experts and Health Institutions for the success of the product(s). Plans and monitors promotional campaigns with an appropriate level of cost-effectiveness, changing them according to market needs and sales results (validating questions with expert panel, Ad. Board, etc.). Leads interactions with external agencies (Media, Market Research, Content Creation). Coordinates and collaborates with other departments/areas the various activities related to product management. Management and Strategy: Ensures the updating of the various internal processes associated with the management of the Sales Force (e.g. Veeva). Ensures the updating of the various internal processes associated with product management (e.g. Forecast). Establishes contacts with the Franchise or Global Team in order to understand the strategy, ensuring the adaptation of that strategy and campaigns to the LOC and giving feedback after their implementation. Manages the promotional budget. Conducts competition analysis and gathers customer insights. Marketing and Sales: Promotes alignment between the marketing and sales area (involves and gains the support of the Sales Force for the implementation of the campaign). Co-responsible for the training of the sales force, defines and aligns pathology and product training needs. Can lead a small sale team. Ethics and Compliance: It ensures the adoption of ethical behavior and legal compliance relevant to the performance of its function. Knowledge & Complexity: Understands the market, customer groups and levels of influence in Portugal. Interpretation and communication of market dynamics and brand strategy to senior management and communicates brand strategy to different departments. Ensure cooperation between the marketing/sales and other relevant areas to ensure the effective implementation of the strategy. Collects market data and brand-specific data from different sources of information. Develops insights and understanding about customers and the market. Shows initiative and creativity in the development of brand strategy and proactive in adjusting and developing strategic alternatives. Experience/ Education Requirements: Degree in Management, Marketing, Scientific, or similar areas Portuguese language on native level, fluent in English and strong communication skills. Experience in Specialty/ Hospital business and local market knowledge in Portugal. Good computer skills from the user's point of view, experience in leading Digital / Multi-Channel Marketing, knowledge of different digital channels and the opportunities they present. Deep knowledge of marketing products and services in the pharmaceutical area (Market Research & Insight, New Product Introduction, Market Access, HCP Segmentation & Targeting, Key Customer Strategy, Campaign Development, Promotional Mix, Strategic Planning & Execution) Good analytical and strategic thinking skills, knowledge of financial analysis and ability to interpret changes in numbers and their business implications. Preparation and monitoring of Account plan based on insights and executed as planned – using direct customer facing as well as x-functional team resources. Preferred Requirements: 3 years of experience in equivalent roles Previous experience in the Portuguese Hospital market Degree in health sciences Why GSK?
