Brand Manager/Senior Brand Manager, CSL Vifor - Maidenhead

This role reports to the Head of Marketing, CSL Vifor UK and is responsible for the leadership of a brand and therapy area. The role is instrumental to developing the strategy and executing the marketing plans. There is also a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, and inspiring and influencing colleagues across the business, ensuring that all teams are aligned behind the strategy and a common goal.

Responsibilities

Ownership of the strategic and tactical plans (incl. local segmentation and omnichannel customer engagement plan) and on-going reviews

Develop business cases for opportunities / growth areas within portfolio

Initializes and evaluates market research, market conditions, and competitor’s data, extracting and implementing country-specific insights into the local marketing plan

Contribute to the identification of business threats and to the development of related contingency plans including the digital tools and platforms

Manage the annual operational plans and budgets for the products responsible for

Assist in the development and implementation of local tactics, incl. prioritizing appropriate targeting, positioning and messaging across all customer segments/persona

Partner closely with field teams and ensures understanding of vision, mission, priorities and messages

Create sustainable, long-term relationships with thought leaders and professional societies

Work effectively with commercial team members, training them on strategy, materials and other product-related capabilities as well as providing support for local programs and initiatives

Ensure key performance metrics are in place, tracking and reporting KPIs to enable adherence to and tracking of local marketing budget

Manage external vendors / agencies and leads day-to-day operational projects

Collaborate cross-functionally and liaises with global to enrich the brand strategy and tactics and share standard methodologies (including collaboration with Centre of excellence for the production on assets/contents) and market best practices Contributes to the building of functional capabilities, coaching & mentoring.

Ensure commitment to compliance culture

Minimum Requirements

Degree or relevant in a relevant field

Minimum 5 years of experience in the life sciences industry

Strong track record of strategic and operation planning for GP and/or Hospital lead products

Understanding of medical aspects of therapeutic area along with willingness to develop in-depth expertise

Understanding of, coupled with demonstrated ability at driving omnichannel approach and insights driven customer engagement plans

Knowledge of the local legal and regulatory landscape

Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with key customers, such as KOLs and developing opinion leader programs

Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications

Ability to travel at least 20-25%

ABPI qualification

Preferred Requirements

Minimum 5 years industry of experience in marketing roles

Documented success in working with customer facing teams and medical departments

Experience with Rare Disease therapy area an advantage
