Job Description:

The Brand Marketing Android Application Engineer is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our Android mobile applications. This role focuses on implementing intuitive user interfaces, supporting BLE-connected features, and ensuring the application remains responsive, secure, and visually consistent. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative in transforming concepts into robust, performant code while collaborating closely with the iOS Engineer and broader engineering team.

Work Performed

Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack ComposeIntegrate BLE hardware support and manage IoT-related functionalityWork with product and design teams to implement features aligned with user needsMaintain cross-platform consistency and code quality standardsEvaluate and integrate Android SDK updates, platform features, and performance optimizationsSupport release processes and coordinate QA, monitoring, and bug fixesCollaborate with backend and infrastructure engineers to ensure seamless integration

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of work experience3+ years of experience in Android development using KotlinStrong understanding of Jetpack Compose and Kotlin CoroutinesExperience with BLE integrations and IoT application featuresSkilled in designing and building modern Android UI componentsBonus: Experience with Firebase, Python, or CI/CD workflowsStrong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
