YOUR ROLE Position Overview: The Brand Marketing Director will be responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of brand marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. This role will oversee all aspects of brand positioning, integrated marketing campaigns, and customer communications. The ideal candidate is a visionary marketer with strong leadership skills, a passion for brand-building, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure the brand’s presence is consistent across all touchpoints. Having an in-depth understanding of the retail home center environment (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe’s) and the importance of the traditional pro market and professional end-user is a significant plus. Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy & Positioning: Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy to ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all platforms. Campaign Development: Lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns, across digital, social, PR, media, and retail channels. Retail Home Center Insight (Plus): Leverage an understanding of the retail home center environment to influence marketing strategies and initiatives. Professional End-User Focus (Plus): Develop marketing strategies that resonate with the traditional pro market, including professional contractors, builders, and trade professionals. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and results. Budget Management: Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI. Brand Communications: Oversee the development of all brand communication assets, including advertising, packaging, and promotional materials. Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify and develop strategic partnerships that amplify brand visibility and customer engagement. YOUR SKILLS Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred. 5+ years of experience in brand management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully building and managing iconic brands. Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience managing large budgets and working with external agencies. Bonus: In-depth understanding of the retail home center environment, the DIY/home improvement market, and the traditional pro market, including the needs of professional end-users.The salary for this role is $135,000-$160,000 This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
