Brand Marketing Project Manager
Niman Ranch supports a community of more than 720 independent farmers and ranchers who raise pork, beef and lamb traditionally, humanely and sustainably to deliver the finest tasting meat. Niman Ranch is part of Perdue Farms, a family-owned company heading into its second century of growth and innovation. **Summary** The Brand Marketing Project Manager will touch many aspects of Niman Ranch marketing. They will lead our project management including the packaging, trade and consumer event planning and execution, budget management and reporting. This role will closely work with the Brand Marketing Manager and will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing. We are seeking a team player that is a very well organized and holds a strong attention to detail, proven success in event management and working in a fast-pace entrepreneurial environment. **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Manages the entire marketing request pipeline process to ensure that all requests are prioritized accordingly and delivered on brand and on time. + Leads and executes brand events from contract negotiations, vendor selection, purchasing decisions, accountability to budget through execution. Two large events and multiple smaller events both trade and consumer facing. + Brand lead for trade shows- collaborates with sales team leads on best-in-class display and attends as marketing lead. + Manages marketing budget and monthly reporting. + Maintains and distributes weekly marketing updates, Period results and Quarterly reporting + Asset management lead- manages and maintains all marketing assets for the brand. Ensures all marketing, sales, and communications collateral/assets are always current, relevant and readily available in the digital asset management tool Utilizes: Canto, Dropbox and SharePoint. Collaborates with corporate teams on alignment on best-in-class tools and lead transition if need. Manages contracts with vendors. + New retailer launch support- manage budget, contractors and custom creative. + Manages the creation and maintenance of brand marketing tools, prints and collates marketing/sales collateral necessary to include in POS shipments. + Product Marketing: managing updating all product selling tools, product photography and digital assets. + Oversight of POS creation and distribution, identify vendors, manages 3rd-party fulfillment warehouse, makes purchasing decisions, invoice approval and budget management. **Minimum Education** + Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising or related field; or 5 years of relevant work experience. **Experience Requirements** + 5 years experience with food industry brands or working at marketing agency. + Experience executing events ranging from 20 to 500 attendees. + Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Comfortable working with team members in multiple remote locations. + Comfortable with working with company leadership and ‘managing’ up to ensure projects deliver on-time and within budget. + Ability to function as part of a team, yet work independently with minimal oversight + Make independent decisions based on information gathered. + Must be highly organized and a critical thinker. + Strong ability to self-manage and work to deadlines. + Creative with a strong attention to detail. + Excellent writing and communication skills. **Experience Preferred** + Marketing project management experience preferred. + Work experience in highly perishable natural brand. **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** + Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. + May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. + May need to access files, supplies and equipment. + Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment. + Position will require 10-15% travel; occasionally through out the year to execute events and represent the brand at trade and consumer facing events. _Perdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
