Brand Marketing Specialist (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking a talented Contractor, Brand Marketing to support key segments of their Baby Gear category! This role will play an integral part in developing and executing strategies that drive growth for brands and customers, focusing on marketing and brand support, project management, innovation commercialization, and category strategy. This is a hybrid contract opportunity in which candidates must be onsite 2-3 days per week in Atlanta, GA!
Responsibilities:
Support the execution of brand marketing strategies across Baby Gear brands, driving consumer demand and market share growth.
Assist in the annual brand planning process to develop fully integrated marketing plans utilizing an omnichannel approach.
Analyze market and consumer data to support innovation strategies and initiatives.
Help commercialize innovation projects, collaborating on customer-facing presentations for new product launches.
Work to achieve category segment P&L targets, identifying opportunities to meet annual goals.
Support category objectives and articulate both short- and long-term strategies for success.
Contribute to marketing strategies and communications for upcoming year plans.
Track and analyze key performance indicators, including ROI analysis.
Assist in the development of category strategy using consumer research and POS analysis.
Ensure brand standards and design consistency across the business as a brand champion.
Leverage consumer insights, market data, and industry trends to drive decision-making.
Track brand performance metrics (sales, market share, brand health, etc.) and report on current and past trends.
Conduct analyses on consumer and category trends, competition, and customer insights, summarizing key findings.
Understand the core financial metrics (revenue, gross margin, CAPEX) involved in innovation projects.
Conduct financial analyses as requested, summarizing key insights and implications.
Qualifications:
Experience level: Experienced
Bachelor’s degree required.
1-2 years of marketing experience, ideally in brand management, consumer insights, or channel management for CPG or durable goods.
Analytical background, with a business-owner mindset.
Experience in cross-functional project management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Fluent in English.
