Brand Senior Specialist
Purpose of the role
The Brand Senior Specialist is reporting and working closely with the Marketing Director to generate portfolio & Brand strategies and to translate them into action plans to drive brand equity building of JTI brands in Mexico, improve consumer engagement and drive business growth. Using market and consumer data & analysis to formulate brand portfolio and pricing strategies to address JTI's portfolio needs, developing & delivering clear action plans on what is relevant to the consumers, all within the legal framework (brand positioning, price opportunities, new brand/product introductions, packaging/product upgrade, messaging that engages the consumer).
Areas of responsibility
Ensures brand integrity in full compliance with Global Brand Guidelines and Marketing Standards. Supports Marketing and Sales teams to align local execution with global frameworks, maintaining consistency in brand equity. Manages marketing agencies to secure quality, cost-effective deliverables and oversees budget utilization in line with JTI procurement processes.
Actively support with the definition of the pricing strategies, identifying price challenges & opportunities, recommending pricing scenarios by having a clear understanding of consumer behavior and pricing dynamics in the market.
Develops all elements of the marketing mix product, packaging, and communication to strengthen brand equity and ensure alignment with positioning. Creates local materials within brand and regulatory guidelines for use across consumer and trade channels. Defines and evaluates program effectiveness through KPIs, recommending actions to enhance consumer engagement.
Analyzes brand performance to identify short and longterm opportunities, generating actionable consumer insights and competitive understanding. Monitors market trends and competitor activity to support effective portfolio and communication strategies. Contributes to monthly forecasting with data-driven input on brand performance and consumer behavior
Requirements
University degree; degree in Marketing, Communication or Business represents a plu Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMGC Brand / Trade Marketing functions Hands-on experience in brand portfolio strategy & product development Conversant with the monitoring and analysis of consumer/trade trends & competitive intelligence Fluency in English. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required
