Brand Visual Identity Specialist
Job Description

This role is categorized as HYBRID. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

Brand Governance
In partnership with Global Marketing, Advertising, and Communications, the Brand Visual Identity Specialist lead creative review across our advertising, communications and brand experience channels. Using existing guidelines and brand tools to drive global brand consistency across customer internal and external brand touchpoints.

Brand Guidelines Oversite
Beyond managing the family of existing brand guidelines (cross-channel, dealer, digital, environmental) As part of brand growth, Cadillac often defines new visual systems for campaigns, new partnerships, etc.  and must strategically evolve guidelines or develop new strategic creative tools. In partnership with Cadillac global partners and stakeholders the Visual Identity Lead develops new visual strategy and graphic guidelines related to brand distinctive assets and creative elements. 

Brand Advocacy
Support brand rollout, education and advocacy across internal teams and agency partners. Candidate should have graphic design or art direction experience with a proven ability to give detailed creative feedback across creative channels. They also support Center of Expertise (COE) with existing relationships including Forza and Epic and explore new opportunities in collaboration with GM Design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work closely with Creative Excellence, Advertising, Global Brand, Retail, Multicultural and Agency teams.Lead day-to-day global brand governance and creative review across 360 ° advertising channels, communications, and experiences — with internal stakeholders and agency partners.Lead brand review global office hours.Manage brand guidelines across all channels.Manage brand microsite.Support Dealership digital experiences. Lead Cadillac of Manhattan digital experience creative refresh. Oversee In-Dealership digital content.Support training, rollouts, and onboarding of new stakeholders or partners.Partner with COE to provide guidance on lifestyle products and partnerships.Support COE with review of branded merchandise and lifestyle products.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, Visual Communication or Graphic Design2+ years of experience requiredStrong project management skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and relationship builderExperience leading creative projects or art directionCreative thinking with a strong understanding of branding and visual communicationAbility to work collaboratively as well as independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesExcellent communicator and relationship builderExperience with both traditional and digital advertising channelsQuick learner – willing to be a brand expert and ambassador overnight
