POSITION SUMMARY: With minimum supervision, responsible for a variety of braze technician functions in order to meet customer delivery schedules. RESPONSIBILITIES: Following established procedures, responsibilities may include some or all of the following: + Knowledge of general braze furnace operating procedures + Perform chart verifications + Meet all quality requirements listed on work instructions + Achieve and maintain annual braze furnace NADCAP certification requirements + Perform basic TPM on equipment + Maintain furnace logs + Inspect furnace hardware + Daily review of braze furnace to ensure it is operational + Complete documentation for braze operations + Perform other duties as requested such as flow test, pressure test, etc. or as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: + High school diploma or GED required + At least 1 year of braze work experience preferred + Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work effectively as a participative team member + May be required to lift up to 35 lbs + Utilize good verbal and written communication skills + Accurately perform basic mathematical calculations + Ability to read, interpret and accept braze chart results + Good verbal and written communication skills required to interface with outside auditors + Ability to assemble, braze and inspect multiple part numbers + Ability to work independently with limited supervision This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
