The vision of Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division is to be the global leader in the design, development, manufacture, and service of engine fuel, lubrication, and thermal management systems and components for aerospace/defense and industrial applications. By leveraging our expertise in analysis, atomization, combustion, fluid metering, and control — coupled with enterprise excellence — we will exceed customer expectations and achieve our business objectives.
POSITION SUMMARY:
With minimum supervision, responsible for a variety of braze technician functions in order to meet customer delivery schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Following established procedures, responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
+ Knowledge of general braze furnace operating procedures
+ Perform chart verifications
+ Meet all quality requirements listed on work instructions
+ Achieve and maintain annual braze furnace NADCAP certification requirements
+ Perform basic TPM on equipment
+ Maintain furnace logs
+ Inspect furnace hardware
+ Daily review of braze furnace to ensure it is operational
+ Complete documentation for braze operations
+ Perform other duties as requested such as flow test, pressure test, etc. or as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ High school diploma or GED required
+ At least 1 year of braze work experience preferred
+ Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work effectively as a participative team member
+ May be required to lift up to 35 lbs
+ Utilize good verbal and written communication skills
+ Accurately perform basic mathematical calculations
+ Ability to read, interpret and accept braze chart results
+ Good verbal and written communication skills required to interface with outside auditors
+ Ability to assemble, braze and inspect multiple part numbers
+ Ability to work independently with limited supervision
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
