Break Station Planner

Ingredion is hiring a Breakstation Planner to develop and deliver unique solutions to support day to day operations and Ingredion Supply Chain’s short-term & long-term bulk transloading needs. The Rail group is focused on optimizing the rail and breakstation network with a focus on capability maturity and best practice development to deliver target service levels through competitive costing models.

As a Breakstation Planner, your responsibilities will include:

Monitoring railcar movements and engaging with railroad suppliers to enable timely delivery of inventory, ensuring breakstations are maintaining required inventory on handIdentifying and resolving inventory discrepancies; ensuring timely inventory transactions in SAPCoordinating customer complaint investigations, responses, and implementation of corrective actionsReporting and controlling KPIs and targets to monitor breakstation performance, including but not limited to: Perfect Order, DIFOT, and customer complaint ratesDeveloping the Ingredion Performance System (IPS) capability for breakstation operationsMonitoring and actioning breakstation capacities through review of supply and demand forecastsEngaging in IPA process to ensure distribution alignment for new materialsSupporting audit of 3PL invoices for accuracy and approving timely payments

The Breakstation Planner position is well-suited for you if you:

Work collaboratively with internal and external customers and stakeholders to identify and resolve opportunities as well as facilitate daily business requirementsAre highly responsive and attentive in dynamic and fast-changing environments and able to develop strong working relationships with business partners to drive alignment of functional objectivesSelf-start as an individual contributor or team player and serve as a role model for operational excellenceWork in mind of continuous improvement tools such as DMAIC, PDCA, LSS, and LSWLeverage data, visualizations, and insights to solve complex business problems and improve outcomesPossess excellent verbal & written communication skills

Qualified candidates will have:

Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, or IT1-2 years’ experience in supply chain, operations, or relevant fieldProven track record of operational excellence and process leadershipStrong fluency with MS Office Suite and advanced analytical capabilities in ExcelAbility to travel up to 10% domestically

Pay Range:

$58,160.00-$77,546.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
