Milton G. Waldbaum and Dan Gardner founded our egg-processing business in 1950 here in Wakefield. Our location raises chickens and produces tankers of liquid egg to be consumed by our processing facilities. Responsibilities JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Scheduling of general maintenance staff. Laying work out to make sure all resources are available prior to scheduling. Organize daily maintenance items and direct to maintenance personnel and insure all items are completed. Helps in providing for a safe work environment for all personnel. Continually monitors quality of work on maintenance staff. Insure all SOP’s, required check lists, audits completed. To assist I training advancing education and management of Breaker Maintenance Employees. In charge of electrical trouble shooting throughout the Breaking Operation and beyond as needed.. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Week-end duty as assigned. Travel to and work at multiple locations Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and in group situations. Ability to respond to questions from internal/external customers/vendors at all levels including management. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, fractions, ratios. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: Examples of licenses, certificates, and registrations required: None required OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Specific skills and abilities required that are not included in other sections: Free of any breathing or asthmatic conditions, dusty and aromatic conditions prevail. Good communication skills, work ethics and attitude. Able to consistently produce quality work in minimal time. Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions. Good technical skills to cover all areas. SAP (System Applications Products in Data Processing) Hazmat Must be flexible and have some computer knowledge Ability to work in various positions, standing, bending, kneeling, crawling, etc. Ability to safely lift 80 lbs. occasionally. Ability to recognize and take steps to resolve problems in order to minimize your impact on the operation. Ability to work wee-ends and holidays on a rotating schedule
