BREAST CARE CTR COORDINATOR

Summary

Summary   Under the daily guidance of the Lead Coordinator, provides center support by receiving patients at the check-in desk, answering the phones and responding to requests, scheduling all types of appointments, and recording maintenance and data entry information. Rotates assigned seats as needed in a timely, professional and efficient manner.   Ensures that all customers receive exemplary service. Recognizes everyone, including patients, visitors, and co-workers as customers while adhering to the LifeBridge Health Core Purpose and Values and Innovation - Compassion - Accountability - Respect - Teamwork. Works at maintaining a good rapport and appropriate interdepartmental relationships with all administrative and clinical staff, promotes a spirit of cooperation through frequent communication. Supports customer service initiatives set by the department to ensure a positive patient experience. Answers phone calls promptly, following any assigned scripting and using appropriate phone etiquette. Follows up on customer requests or refers the requests to the appropriate party. Coordinates and manages scheduling for all types of patient appointments. Accurately schedules mammograms, breast ultrasounds, needle localizations, breast biopsies, breast MRIs and bone density studies in Cerner and Medi/Pac following scheduling guidelines and protocols.
