The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Breast Imaging. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible with sub-specialty training in Breast Radiology. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Teaching responsibilities may include daily clinical supervision of residents and breast radiology fellows and lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments. In addition, the candidate will prepare learning materials and lectures, teaching posters and presentations for national review. The successful candidate will be an accomplished educator and be expected to serve in an educational leadership role within the Breast Radiology Division. Mentorship of junior faculty is expected.
Clinical responsibilities may include utilizing the most advanced breast imaging technology available to provide individually tailored, comprehensive evaluations for the early and precise detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. The successful candidate will also conduct high-quality interventional breast procedures, including mammographic, sonographic, and MRI guided biopsies.
Leadership responsibilities may include representation of breast radiology to committees of the department, hospital(s) or School of Medicine, serving as Lead Interpreting Physician, developing operational oversight and efficiency, and designated roles within the department.

OnePenn Radiology provides clinical services for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center, as well as affiliated outpatient imaging centers located in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey will be required.
