Overview At St. Francis Hospital the Breast Imaging RN will act as a key member of our Women’s Health Center, A Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, you will focus on the clinical care of the breast imaging patients and guide them through the biopsy and localization procedure. Including patient assessment, vitals, pre-procedure intake, post procedure education, post procedure breast care, procedure room set-up and break-down and procedure supply ordering. Job Details Responsibilities: Providing administrative and professional medical services relating to breast imaging procedures, take history, physicals, data collection, medical chart review, lab result reporting, follow-up communications, procedure scheduling, patient tracking as required by MQSA. (will train) Participate in protocol implementation of Women’s Health policy and procedures. Requirements: BSN Required New York State Registered Nurse 2-3 years nursing experience preferred Strong analytical skills, as well as clinical diagnostic capability Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and staff EMR experience required.
