TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with team members to deliver detailed growing protocols that enable seed and data production and superior products our customers.Ensure application and adoption of best practices in crop management, irrigation, plant nutrition, plant health, and harvest to deliver quality data and optimize results for cost, quality and yield.Leverage metrics applications and quality control processes to realize accuracy, efficiency and expanded improvementsto protocols.Capture data in Windows and iOS operating systems (desktop computing, iPhones, iPads) and conduct data quality check and assurance to enable timely advancement of vegetable products.Identify equipment utilization improvementsand conduct job-safety analysis.Responsible for data accuracy and record retention of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to company's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.Perform activities related to integrated pest management, sanitation and testing. Ensure utilization of phytosanitary practices by auding activities to produce disease free seeds.Keep a record of maintenance, calibration, and use of all equipment Ensure proper management of waste streams.
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelors Degree in Agronomy or related with at least of 2 years of relevant experience or studying with 5 years relevant experience. Relevant (crop management, IPM, fertigation).English language skills (B2/B2+).Knowledge of crop production practices. Experience with both standard MS Office computer and software systems used in scientific data analysis, with ability toquickly learn new software programs and tools. Capable of maintaining large data sets.Ability to obtain Pesticide applicator license if required.Ability to work long hours and rotational shifts when needed. Ability to communicate verbally and written. Master`s Degree with at least one year of relevant experience (Preferred).
