Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?** **SALARY:** $24-26/hour **WORK LOCATION:** Elysian Brewery - Seattle, WA **SHIFT:** 1st and 2nd Shift. Shifts Include: Monday - Friday (rotating shifts) + 6:00AM-2:00PM + 2:00PM-10:00PM **ROLE SUMMARY:** This position is an experienced brewer and operator role on the Brewing Team responsible for the execution of daily brewing and ancillary tasks. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Responsible for wort and beer production according to SOPs and within brewing specifications. + Escalating non-conformities to Brewer 2, 3, Head, and/or Brewmaster. + Maintaining high performance standards through safe operation, and strong communication (written and verbal). + Physically performing assigned duties. + Sample beer for quality check purposes. + Logging and reporting results as indicated. + Attending requisite meetings (Monthly Brewers Meeting, Safety Breakouts, Quarterly Meetings, Daily Shift Meetings). + Maintaining a safe and clean work environment. + Participation in Elysian events. + Monitoring processes and escalating non-conformities. + Ability to routinely lift a maximum of 55lbs. + Ability to work in hot and cold environments. + Willing and able to work within loud, wet, and dusty environments. + Ability to operate equipment. + Ability to continually work standing up, and/or sitting down for prolonged periods of time. + Ability to traverse staircases, sustain occasional kneeling, bending, and stooping. + Ability to work with hazardous chemicals using provided PPE. + Ability to work in dim and or bright conditions. + Ability to ascend and descend ladders and elevated platforms. + Various PPE requirements including but not limited to either a bump cap/hard hat, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, gloves, and high vis. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS:** + High school diploma or equivalent – required. + 21+ years of age. + Understands and employs a Safety-First approach. + Orchestrated Beer, Microsoft Office, Brew Maxx. + Willingness to work flexible schedules to meet deadlines. + Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and prioritize well. + Knowledge of brewing processes and techniques. + Works under general supervision with detailed instruction. **BENEFITS:** + Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life insurance + 401k matching up to 6% + Paid company holidays + Paid vacation and sick time off + Employee Assistance Program + Employee discounts + Free beer! **WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH:** Anheuser-Busch is here for the times that matter.
