Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer). **Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:** + Read blueprints, drawings, understand the plans and specifications. + Cut, assemble and install rebar, anchor bolts and embeds. + Erect job made forms or install prefabricated forming systems and their components. + Place concrete into the form work and finish concrete surfaces to specifications. + Order materials necessary to perform the work. + Inspect work for compliance to plans and specifications. + Monitor and schedule crew productions and understand goals + Ensure compliance with all safety policies and OSHA regulations + Lead by example in the areas of safety, work product and work ethic + Ability to set up/or build forms + Communicate with owners, DOT and Inspectors + Oversee compliance with all safety policies and OSHA regulations + Lead by example in the areas of safety, work product and work ethic **Required Qualifications:** + A minimum of 5 years’ experience in bridge or general heavy highway construction + A minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience + Strong attention to detail + Excellent communication skills + Analytical and problem-solving skills + Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team + Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to report to work on time + Must have proficient knowledge of NYSDOT standard specification as it relates to bridge and general civil construction + Must be willing to travel + Must pass a pre-employment drug screen **Compensation:** Competitive wage commensurate with experience.
