AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Bridges & Structures Assistant to join our team in Warsaw.

The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of Projects, either as standalone bridge commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team. It can be a great opportunity for a junior profile that wants to boost his/her professional technical career on structural engineering.

Here's what you'll do:

Work on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC, with work being reviewed by senior or experienced engineers.

Deliver complex structural drawings in 2D and 3D (including BIM) along different stages of the design development.

May set standards and procedures for CAD and BIM works.

Execute calculations under designer’s supervision. 

Assign and coordinate tasks to other technical or administrative staff, mainly related to drafting or structural modelling.

May train less experienced staff in preparation of drawing and graphic elements.

Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for: 

Experience working on bridges and/or structures designs (+2 years) and clear appetite to develop a technical career on that field.

Proficiency in CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).

Proficiency in Structural Drawings, including reinforcement drawings.

Working experience in BIM Modelling (i.e. Revit for Bridges or Structures) will be considered favorably.

Working experience in engineering calculation software for bridge and/or structures (preferable Midas Civil) will be considered favorably.

Communicative level of English (spoken and written)

CV in English language.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
