About the role: We’re looking for a confident and professional Commercial Broker to join our team in Taupo. Working collaboratively you will service a portfolio of rural clients providing timely and trusted advice. You will inherit and grow an established and profitable book of client business and will be instrumental in developing Gallagher’s continued growth, reputation and status in the industry and market place. How you'll make an impact Maintain client relationships by delivering an outstanding client experience Management of renewals ensuring that they are completed on or before expiry dates Servicing of alterations, endorsements and setting up new policies and finance agreements Resolve client queries and manage the collection of premiums Deliver product advice and proactively refer products that are appropriate to the needs of the client Support the Key Account Manager by handling the smaller accounts of a large Property Managing Group Broking is required on MD,BI,PL,SL Policies End to end Process skills, including invoicing / document generation etc due to the nature of the client relationship Very busy role with high volume of clients so strength in time management skills, accuracy and speed are critical Skills and Experience: Previous commercial or rural insurance broking experience (minimum of 3 years) Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills Proven ability to develop and manage complex client accounts Experience in developing new business opportunities A strong sense of team work and a committed work ethic Demonstrated understanding of NZ insurance policies and regulations Holds or is working towards a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5) Benefits: Comprehensive reward and recognition programme Life insurance benefit (T&Cs apply) Discounted personal insurance Yearly wellness contribution Yearly flu vaccinations We support you to develop your skills with excellent learning and development opportunities within a friendly team environment.
