Overview About the Role and You: We are seeking an experienced Broker to join our Corporate team in Wellington. Reporting to the Group Broking Manager the focus of this role is to deliver expert insurance advice and products to our clients to ensure that they are appropriately covered to financially survive any insurable event. The Broker – Corporate participates in client acquisitions as part of the team by providing key support to senior Brokers with risk consulting, renewals, premium collection, setting up policies and managing client queries. As a member of our industry-leading team, you will be self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented. Additionally, you will demonstrate a strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. How you'll make an impact Demonstrate our values, through actions that help the business achieve its mission, to position our clients to financially survive any insurable event Maintain client relationships by delivering an outstanding client experience, ensuring trust and brand loyalty exists with our brand front of mind with our customers Assist with renewals ensuring that they are completed on or before expiry dates Servicing of alterations, endorsements and setting up new policies and finance agreements Resolve client queries and manage the collection of premiums within the required timeframe Deliver product advice and services that are appropriate to specific needs that are compliant with legislation and service agreements Proactively cross sell and promote products to clients including premium funding, cyber risk, domestic insurance and life and health Build knowledge and understanding of your clients business and industry market to provide trusted advice and to grow your portfolio Develop new clients through the effective use of networks and own research Establish and implement a new business strategy to generate and achieve portfolio growth Develop and exceed annual budget and goals Skills and Experience: At least 2+ years’ experience in corporate or commercial insurance Proven ability to develop and manage client accounts Proven ability to identify, generate, qualify, develop, negotiate & close opportunities A high degree of commercial acumen Holds or is working towards a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5) About us: At Gallagher, we’ve been helping to protect what’s important to people and businesses for more than 95 years.
