Key Responsibilities:
• Business development and relationship management of broker partners with focus on business growth for direct sales force.
• Partnership Development: Establish and grow partnerships with broker partners for recurring business opportunities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to drive the success of growth initiatives.
• Effectively execute presentations to broker audiences.
• Spearhead sales planning with assigned brokers, including business development, strategic engagement, retention initiatives, cross-selling opportunities (pipelining), and profitability.
• Identify areas of focus based on broker organization and structure (industry verticals, centers of competence, etc.) and execute strategically and in tandem with Direct Sales Force.
• Identify Regional business development opportunities, including new markets, target segments and clients, in collaboration with the broader Distribution Team.
• Build and execute pipeline using external and internal data sources.
• Act as a product advocate to escalate new business opportunities, key renewals, and outstanding issues with senior management of Broker Partners.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in business, marketing, or finance or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years significant experience in insurance industry in front-line business development preferred.
• Must be motivated by a diverse set of responsibilities and have high energy.
• Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Must present self in a professional manner and be able to interact with all levels of the organization and outside contacts.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with high level leadership business leaders and P&C brokers.
• Demonstrable ability to negotiate both internal and externally in high pressure situations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of time to meet in-person, conduct meetings, attend events, and strengthen professional relationships.
• Establish and grow partnerships with broker partners for recurring business opportunities and collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to drive the success of broker development initiatives.
Key Skills:
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM preferred.
