Title: Broker Support
The role is focused on supporting the International Casualty broking team by providing quality administrative and service support directly to brokers and clients and will include supported broking into Lloyds and company markets.
The Role
• Support the broking team’s client retention and growth strategies.
• Understand the team’s needs and determine appropriate administrative and broking solutions strategies.
• Ensure adherence to Group policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain active relationships with our clients, WTW network offices and insurers.
Business Development
• Responsibility for supporting the business unit to win, retain and develop new clients.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of prospects including conducting research, organising meetings and crafting new business presentations.
• Support the business unit in the placement journey, from accurate budgeting, forecasting and tracking.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant products and services offered by WTW.
• Network internally with other business units, within the sector, and with external specialists.
Placement and Operational Service
• Manage compliant processing of contracts per FCA and contract certainty requirements.
• Assist with loading of data into the relevant WTW systems.
• Check market presentations and client documentation as appropriate.
• Liaise with Ipswich-based operational and compliance teams as required
The Requirements
• Preferably Certificate of Insurance qualified and/or working towards the CII qualification
• Preferably educated to A level standard or relevant industry experience
• Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office suite)
• Experience in supporting client service
• Experience in delivering applicable compliance standards with client service teams
