Job Description:

Brokerage Consultants acquire, develop, and retain relationships through market expertise and a deep understanding of Fidelity’s Brokerage offering. This acquisition occurs through direct customer interactions through partnership referrals via warm transfers and cold referrals.

The Brokerage Consultant provides subject matter expertise to directly impact primary relationships with the primary objective of acquiring outside assets and secondary objective of positioning planning and referring client back to our advisory teams.

The Skills You Bring Fidelity Relationship Model Skills to connect, discover, and present our value based on client opportunity Negotiation skills across the margin, options, and cash offer space Effectively execute sales strategies and tactics specifically related to brokerage business Superior presentation skills Subject Matter Expertise (SME) across independent investment vehicles: Equities, ETP’s, Options, Funds, Crypto. SME on market mechanics, technical analysis, fundamental analysis Deep level of knowledge on all Fidelity research, resources, and tools applicable to independent strategy management Ability to support national brokerage initiatives and foster collaborative relationships with various business partners The Value You Deliver Acquisition of external accounts from competitors Providing timely subject matter expertise on market updates and promotions, enhancements, and changes within the brokerage product offerings Position deeper development of clients for advisor teams across PI Distribution Ensuring sales associates understand and utilize all brokerage service models Assisting Brokerage Product teams with platform development, online tools, research, and competitive insight How Your Work Impacts the Organization

The Brokerage Consultant interacts with both our clients and business partners with educated Brokerage discussions, creating opportunities to grow relationships with current clients and develop new business.
