Job Description Supports the SAP student information system implementation (Student lifecycle management) Support development of business rules, requirements gathering and data mapping for the financial system / AR billing workstream of the SIS implementation project Support the remediation and dispositioning of 150+ custom internal applications, documenting specs and tracking inventory / analysis of the applications Works closely with business and technical project managers on large-scale enterprise-wide solutions across UC San Diego (including Health Systems) Supports all steps of the project lifecycle from definition to requirements analysis, testing, and rollout Creates highly technical specifications for systems with broad impact at a campus / medical center / OP or within a large organization. Coordinates with QA on acceptance testing plans, scenarios, and provide input on test scripts Defines scope of testing/acceptance criteria per release/sprint. Performs highly complex analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system specifications Partner closely with project leaders, project managers, process analysts, subject matter experts, and organizational team members to optimize project deliverables. Traces requirements from inception to delivery of the selected solution. Initiates, facilitates, implements and documents work process & procedural changes. Skills and Requirements Experience supporting and to end enterprise SaaS system implementation projects Understanding of complex processes and systems requirement standards, such as Use Case modeling, process mapping, and user story creation Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Advanced skills and methodologies associated with process and software design, modification and implementation. Demonstrated skills needed to develop process and system implementation plans. Demonstrated experience with process analysis, systems analysis, and methodologies and practices including traditional waterfall, Agile, Agile Scrum, UML, UML Enterprise, etc. Advanced knowledge of business processes and procedures. Demonstrated testing and test planning skills.
