BSM/BPM Consultant
The initial work will be full time onsite with a potential after a couple months moving toward 50% onsite and 50 % remote.
REQUIREMENTS
· 5+ years of experience in delivering, installing, configuring, testing and upgrading BSM solutions.
· HP Certified
· Experience in monitoring infrastructure, servers, applications, DBs, middleware, network.
· Specific domain knowledge on various BSM solution components (e.g. BPM, SiteScope).
· Experienced in Configuring BSM solution artifacts (e.g. templates, monitors, events, dashboards, thresholds, users, views, queries, SLAs, KPIs).
· Experienced in implementing BSM solution integrations with external event/data sources.
· Experienced in Knowledge Transfer/Mentoring activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Validate stability and status of existing SiteScope Servers.
· Validate that integration between SiteScope and BSM is configured and working.
· Define and create SiteScope monitor templates using best practices (naming convention, group structure and thresholds).
· Deploy defined monitor templates to SiteScope Server domain.
· Enable SiteScope Reporting using out of the box artifacts.
BPM:
· Validate stability and status of existing BSM Platform Servers.
· Validate stability and status of an existing BPM systems (up to 5).
· Validate that integration between BPMs and BSM is configured and working.
Application On Boarding activities:
· NFCU team will provide the list of 5 (five) business functions and associated applications
- Consultant will review application architecture through Doc Share and provide questions for the application team for the clarity purpose.
- HP consultant will lead applications on boarding meetings for enabling NFCU monitoring lead.
· Develop BPM script for Web, SOAP, Client server (Java, .Net, Citrix, RDP etc.) applications.
· Provide best practice for script development, naming convention, base lining and thresholds.
Dashboard:
· Create a dashboard view presenting infrastructure and application component monitoring (SiteScope) and end user monitoring (BPM) unified view.
· Create dashboard views for business function.
