Job Description

The BU Manager - Immunology will maximize the development and our impact in one of the territory of AHA for our entire Immunology portfolio and in one of our Immunology Therapeutical Area across the territories of AHA, while protecting AHA profitability.

They will coordinate, facilitate and lead the execution of the strategic development, tactical implementation and financial planning components of sales and marketing. Be responsible for the day-to-day operations and performance, managing resources, supervising team, and ensuring the achievement of its operational targets. Continue to operate within AbbVie business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.


Scope of Responsibilities

Country: Ensure the achievement of commercial objectives and the development of the profitability of the country. Country P&L responsibility.  Therapeutical Brand: Ensure the definition and implementation of the Marketing strategy and tactics, in collaboration with the Division Director, the Brand team, the In-Field team and European contacts. AHA Brand responsibility.Functional: Act as a referral in AHA for a portfolio of competencies and strategic/critical projects


Responsibilities

Effectively manage and execute all marketing and sales related brands’ activities as per Brand Plans under Therapeutic Area Immunology in Business Unit.Oversee and manage products development and implementation of commercial Brand strategy and tactical Brand activities execution and deliver sales performance to maximize or exceed brand sales and margin.Lead (Inspire, orchestrate, drive, assess, …) the AHA Brand Team under his responsibilityMaximize brand’s sales and margin revenue, through the effective management and execution of Brand activities as per Brand Plan and through effective leadership, contribution and participation in Brand Team activitiesHold accountability and responsibility for allocated Brand P&L and financial planning (Financial Plan, LBE, LRP)Oversee product and team management including expenditures of product budgets and staff development.Supervise and control sales forecasting, sales plan inputs, including annual budget / sales preparation and monthly and quarterly up-datesSupport product market expansion through innovative commercial programs.  Develops view on Brand issues and competitive positioning. Maintain and develop in-depth insight to anticipate stakeholder needs.Develop and coach talent and build succession plans in order to ensure continuous high performance and engaged talent pipeline in Sales and Marketing. (if applicable)Professionally manage and build cross functional cooperation between key stakeholders, build effective multidisciplinary teams. Ensure timely and qualitative market intelligence information flow to Brand Teams and brand strategy/tactical communication from Brand Teams to In-Field Teams in order to optimize brand strategy and its execution.Liaise with relevant Area and Global functions to integrate global and area strategy / tactics into the local brand planning strategy and execution and to facilitate the development and alignment of global and area brand vision and strategic objectivesOther duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications
Relevant university degree. Science/Applied Science/ Business discipline Relevant experience with proven track record of success in marketing/sales within biotech/pharmaceutical industry in the Adriatics&Hungary regionGood performance track record with tangible results in business and peopleKnowledge of external stakeholder environment and market access issuesKnowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical environmentAbility to translate strategies into actionable and realistic marketing actionsAbility to lead, motivate and coordinate cross functional teamsBusiness acumen and knowledge of sales and marketing aspectsSolid knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles and techniques including digital knowledgeSolid knowledge on finance principles and processesEnglish language proficiency verbally and in writingHungarian language proficiency verbally and in writing
