Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the National Ground Intelligence Center, Enterprise Operations Directorate, Budget Execution Office in Charlottesville, Virginia. Responsibilities Analyze budget estimates and supporting data. Provide recommendations for funding programs to assure compliance with regulatory and legal limitations and restrictions, and with policies and directives. Interpret policy and apply regulations to the budgetary program of the National Ground Intelligence Center. Execute and assist in the formulation and justification of annual and multi-year budget appropriations. Monitor budgetary commitments, obligations, and expenditures. Serve as a senior analyst providing budget and manpower management guidance and technical oversight to staff and leadership. Monitor civilian payroll, personnel actions, supply requisitions, travel orders and other programs to ensure compliance with program budget.
