Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command Region 6 - PAC - JB Pearl Harbor. Responsibilities Reviewing budget submission data and necessary justifications to support current and multi-year budgetary requirements. Serving as the subject matter expert and advisor, responsible for reviewing, studying and interpreting guidance and instructions received from the Command and assesses the impact on assigned programs and funding levels. Revising operating procedures and policy related to the budget of direct and reimbursable funding Providing staff guidance, training and problem resolution in areas of program administration and management, which includes the coordination of authorized charge limits, certification of card holders, as well as abuse of charge usage. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience 1) providing administrative budgetary functions specific to plans and analysis; 2) consolidating budget submission data and necessary justifications to support current and multi-year budgetary requirements; AND 3) formulating budgetary policy and instructions to support the organizations mission and functions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12).
