Northrop Grumman Engineering Business Management is seeking a Budget Analyst (Level 2) in a Business Management functional role in Palmdale, Redondo Beach, CA. This position has a partial telework schedule working 2-3 days per week on-site.
Essential Functions:
This position will seek to meet the financial goals and objectives of the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Functional Business Management: indirect expense planning and monitoring, direct allocations, capital and budgeting/tracking, time charging and compliance policy guidance, and other activities.
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills. Oral and written communication skills are very important factors to the successful execution of job responsibilities. Successful candidate will need very strong technical skills with Excel, analytical and organizational skills, and will need to feel confident interfacing with all levels of management (Director, Center Managers, Department Managers, Section Managers, Technical Staff).
Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with 3 years' experience or a Master's with 1 year of stated experience in the following:
Advanced Excel skills and experience
Experience with Tableau
Statistical modeling building
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word)
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of SAP/S4
Ability to work on-site in Palmdale, Redondo Beach, CA telework schedule, (2-3 days per week in office)
Preferred Qualifications:
Highly organized
Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
Demonstrated ability to effectively participate on team projects
Salary Range: $65,600.00 - $98,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
