What will I be doing?
A Buffet Attendant is responsible for Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down buffet or food bar. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. Specifically, you would be responsible for the following:
\n\nReplenish needed food and supplies by retrieving items from the kitchen and storerooms to ensure adequate food amounts are always maintained.\nSet up buffet food bar as instructed by manager through verbal and/or written communication.\nRecommend and describe buffet items to guests using a clear and pleasant speaking voice.\nVisually check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up, cleanliness and aesthetically appealing presentation of food bar\nLift and place trays of food into the buffet bar efficiently and quietly and according to safety standards.\n\n\n\n\n
