This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.


Job Purpose and Impact

The Build Project Supervisor will plan, coordinate, and monitor projects from initiation through completion at the Specialty Soy Protein processing facility in Bloomington, IL. In this role you will coordinate and direct activities to ensure that the project goals are accomplished within the determined timeframe and budget. You will lead a third-party team through project management activities including project planning, execution, and control to ensure business results.

Key Accountabilities Execute strategies to develop assigned projects safely, ensuring adherence to environmental health and safety standards and codes related to build projects and construction safety.Monitor project progress, assess issues and recommend solution to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.Review status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules, and prepare and present status reports.Coordinate the operational aspects of projects working with cross functional groups on site.Drive and support integration of, and adherence to, corporate and legal requirements in the design and construction of plant processes, equipment, and utilities.Collaborate with regional domain leads for domain specific expertise support in build projects.Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of four years of related work experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience working with or leading third-party contractorsExperience in operations with challenging environmental health and safety aspects.Experience managing third party resources to deliver business results.Compensation Data

The expected salary for this position is $110,000-130,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
